Labour Allocation & Scheduling
THE PROBLEM
Scheduling dozens of workers across as many sites lived on a whiteboard and a shared spreadsheet. Conflicts only surfaced when two foremen turned up at the same job. Over-allocation was usually discovered around 7am Monday.
THE APPROACH
A visual scheduling board that knows who's qualified for what, who's already booked, and where the gaps are. Drag people onto jobs; the app warns about clashes, missing tickets, and over-allocation before they happen. Workers get a notification when their week changes.
WHAT CHANGED
Scheduling conflicts are caught the day before, not the morning of. The right people show up to the right jobs with the right tickets. Coordinators got their afternoons back.
